Entrail-Concept:
This piece is inspired by an imaginative view of a section of the inside of a human body, my body.
Everything connects, vein like threads travel and unite with one another; a swirl of beaded, printed, stitched and embroidered cells interact and overlap. It is a three-dimensional world.
Red tear drop shapes, reminiscent of blood, drip reminding us that it is real flesh.
It is a micro-cosmos in constant flux. It is also a metaphor for Life itself, we are like tiny cells lost in the myriad relations of a much larger organism.
