The origin of this piece truly began at the core of my own organism. I felt compelled to express what my body was going through...the most amazing process a woman can go through...conceiving Life or not...
Frida Kahlo was with me throughout this whole creative process. The way she uses her own image and her own experiences as a canvas to express her deepest sorrows and joys.
Techniques employed in this piece are: block-printing, embroidery, stitching and beading.
